"I feel like Jade is a closeted lesbian who has a crush on her friend but doesn't understand her own feelings (comphet like we mentioned previously). Jade never understood why Kitana liked liu kang, but she saw that Kitana was happy, so she let it be (she's still protective over Kitana). They both had their "good luck, babe" moments." - speaking of that, in MK11, when Kitana asked Jade if she was her friend or Kotal's consort, why did she sound almost.....jealous? Like what kind of question was that? Sis was absolutely baffled at the idea that Jade was entertaining Kotal at all.
Also, Jade lowkey was so messy with that whole getting Kotal to abdicate thing. Manipulating your man(who may or may not be your man) so that your "best friend" can get on the throne easier.......basically implying that he isn't shit as a ruler so he might as well hand the throne over. She's so messy.
Kitana was probably like, "Girl, you can do so much better."
Kotal is a shit ruler, and Jade knew that. Once Kotal tried to kill all of those tarkatans, she knew he wasn't shit. That's why she beat his ass afterward.
